Kylah and Caleb

My cousin Kelli has a 7 month old son, Caleb. If Kelli and I are first cousins, that makes Kelli and Kylah second cousins, right? So what are Kylah and Caleb? Third cousins? Whatever they are to each other, they are only 13 days apart in age, and it's evident they're going to have fun growing up together! It was fun seeing them smile and talk to each other while celebrating Great Grandma Wisniewski's birthday yesterday. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Leaving tomorrow

Today was Alison's and my last day in San Diego. After a very informative tour at another customer site, and a productive couple of hours writing up a trip analysis, we were able to drive out to the beach, walk in the sand, stick our toes in the ocean, and window shop at stores we could never afford anything at! We took the scenic route from Vista, over to Highway 101 down through Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, La Jolla, and then into Downtown San Diego. We checked into our hotel and spent the rest of the evening walking around Gas Lamp Village. It really was a great way to end the trip. But I can tell you this - I miss my husband, baby girl, and puppy more than I could've ever imagined!!! So yes, I'm ready to come home tomorrow. Until then, here are some more pictures of the fun stuff, and one from work I thought was interesting:

This picture is from one of our customer sites here in Encinitas, CA. Because they aren't selling as many flowers right now as they estimated to, they end up dumping loads and loads of absolutely beautiful flowers every day. This is just one of the loads out of the many they'll dump just today. I wish I could bring them home with me!

San Diego, California

Greetings for warm, sunny, California! I'm in San Diego with a co-worker right now, and this is my first overnight trip away from Kylah, ever. It's also my first overnight trip in a long time away from Craig and Riley. It's not easy, that's for sure - but I'm being strong knowing that I'll be home to see them again soon. (I love and miss you guys!) In the mean time, Alison and I just finished eating dinner at a fantastic Italian restaurant after our first day of visiting a customer site (greenhouse). The trip has been great so far, so I'd like to share some pictures with you. The view below is from a half block behind our hotel, overlooking Moonlight Beach. It's tough having customers located in really cool, beautiful cities ;)

For those of you wondering what kind of flowers we're dealing with at this customer site, check out the next two pictures. Millions of absolutely beautiful, perfect Gerbera Daisies.

Hopefully the weather in Michigan is nice. It was 70 and perfectly sunny here today!

Please start winning...

We are all Tiger's fans in this house. Even the dog. So we're trying to be optimistic with the horrible start to their season that they will start winning soon. GO TIGERS!

Happy Birthday Riley!

Riley turned 3 yesterday! Instead of cake, we gave him a Pig's Ear and of course, he loved it :)

Yum....
