Today was Alison's and my last day in San Diego. After a very informative tour at another customer site, and a productive couple of hours writing up a trip analysis, we were able to drive out to the beach, walk in the sand, stick our toes in the ocean, and window shop at stores we could never afford anything at! We took the scenic route from Vista, over to Highway 101 down through Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, La Jolla, and then into Downtown San Diego. We checked into our hotel and spent the rest of the evening walking around Gas Lamp Village. It really was a great way to end the trip. But I can tell you this - I miss my husband, baby girl, and puppy more than I could've ever imagined!!! So yes, I'm ready to come home tomorrow. Until then, here are some more pictures of the fun stuff, and one from work I thought was interesting:
This picture is from one of our customer sites here in Encinitas, CA. Because they aren't selling as many flowers right now as they estimated to, they end up dumping loads and loads of absolutely beautiful flowers every day. This is just one of the loads out of the many they'll dump just today. I wish I could bring them home with me!
